Sewing

So, my first sewing project is complete. After this inspiration - I decided that I had to make a dress for Eva. I even had purchased fabric. I was really nervous about getting started. I did not want to ruin the fabric I purchased in the trial run.

Then I spotted a pretty floral pillowcase at a local thrift store. There were a few repairs needed on the ruffle around the opening - but at $0.29 - definitely worth a second look.

With a little yellow ruffle trim and some elastic - Ta Da!

It is a way too big for Eva - but in a month it will be perfect.
Okay, maybe in two years.
I can sew!!
