doctors' office = house of torture
Eva had her check-up and, well...
it went...
very, very slowly.
We were there almost 2 hours.
She started crying when they weighed her... 21 pounds.
Blood curdling screams commenced when they measured her head... still large.
Then, when she was stretched out to see that she was now over 30 inches tall... she held her breath.
(Now I know why her pants are too short.)
Her fingers were pricked...
teeth were treated...
and shots were given.
Each one of these events were preceded and followed with
more tears, screams and breath holding.
I think Eva dislikes it there...
I know mommy does.

Awww...poor Eva! Cute picture, and I like how you wrote the story.
I hate the waiting at doctors. It is the worst. your picture shows these feelings perfectly.
I have always wondered what the point of making an appointment was if they were just going to make you wait all day long anyway...on another note, what kind of camera/lens do you have? You always take the most amazing pics!!
Great idea! Love the composition!
So cute!
Aww! Poor thing! Both you and Eva. BTW I love the blue wall!
This happened to me last week too! The nurse kept saying, "is he here for a sick visit or a well visit?" and I was like, "he is terrified. can't you tell?" he peed all over me after he was weighed. i smelled like pee all the way to walmart. haha. why do they think doctors are going to eat them or something? ;)
Hi Nessa, So silly this is the first time I have clicked on your profile from Heidi's blog. You have a beautiful baby girl and blog.
My baby girl will be fifteen months old tomorrow and she has a Dr.'s check up as well. Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping it won't suck too badly.
