Non-Green Pasta

Eva his becoming picky eater.

There are occasions where she will devore broccoli...
occasions such as when the full moon falls on a Saturday

On most days and weeks, she picks through her food,
finds the pasta and throws the rest on the floor.
No pasta... then everything goes.

I thought it was always an exaggeration.
Kids didn't refuse to eat a certain color - that is ridiculous.
Ummm, sorry.  I believe you now.

Eva hates green food.
I could not even talk her into to tasting kiwi the other night...
she wouldn't open her mouth.

I made this the other day...
and she ate all of it.

Granted, there are no offending green suspects,
but it has protein... another toughie for us.

First she inspected.
Then she smelled.

Then she started shoveling it in.
Now I need to work on the green stuff.

So funny about the green stuff! Maybe try a smoothie with strawberries and spinach? It doesn't LOOK green, but still has those nutrients!

I will be making this for the kiddos. Augusta is still a super little eater but the other two, man oh man...

yummy! that looks good!
You could also saute a bunch of veggies such as zucchini, red pepper, onion, garlic, carrots etc. and then pureee them in food processor or blender, then throw back into the pasta as a sauce, she would NEVer know and you could feel GREAT about her eating it!!!

I can hide anything in a smoothie and (as of now) C will gobble it up! Now that I've written that though he'll probably refuse his breakfast ;)

Okay, that could be Teagan. Same bib. Same fork. Same picky eating habits. Two peas in a pod!
