Rosary

IMG_2583

We had been trying for #2 since January.
We really hadn't told anyone...
but I guess I am now.

By May I was getting frustrated...
and a little sad...
okay a lot sad.

We waited a while for our monster...
but I thought for sure the second would be easy.

Nope...
not easy.

No oops while nursing...
no first try surprises.

I was asking...
begging...
negotiating.

I even added a rosary...
for my strick Catholic Grandma.

Nope...
no dice.

But I get it now.
There was a bigger need out there than my request.

Our number two was already here.

Oh Nessa. This brought tears to my eyes. Isn't it absolutely amazing how God already has a plan for our lives and we just don't even realize? It's all written...

So so sweet. Will you share the story with us sometime? How she came to be a part of your family? I understand it still may be too close. But when you're ready. xxoo

This photo is just so touching, Nessa. I don't often talk about my faith, but I feel compelled to say that I believe in a higher power because of posts like this. We may not often get what we think we want, but I know from experience that we always, always get just what we need. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing thing with us.

Oh, this is just so beautiful - the photo, the post, and the snippet of your story. I've had a few of your posts starred for a while now and am just now making it here to say congratulations on your new addition. :) I guess you didn't get a belly a baby shower or to choose a name, but those are not what makes a child your own... So glad you now have another precious girl to love and care for, and so glad she's fitting into your family so well. You are all very blessed. x

What you wrote is just lovely and the story itself is very uplifting. I came across a quote recently that I just love. What you have lived here seems a perfect example of it:
Doubt is a pain too lonely to know that faith is his twin brother. Khalil Gibran
May God continue to Bless you all!!

This is beautiful. Isn't it amazing how god answers prayer...maybe not in the way you expect him too, but in his own time and in his own way. You are blessed, my friend.

Nessa, your story really is inspiring. I'm sorry you had to go through the heartache of trying and not conceiving, that is so hard, but I'm so glad that your #2 is here and that things are going so well. I'm just loving reading your story!
