Dream

This is my dream house.
It is the house I daydream about.

20aladdin-sunshine

I imagine me on the porch sipping my coffee.
Watching the fog burn off in the morning sunshine.

I have hens and a garden in the back with a gate.
I have always wanted a garden gate.

I am in a porch swing...
loaded with pillows.

I am wondering what Eva is up to...
and then hear her feet running across the lovely green metal roof.

I hope she has her shoes on.

I have often dreamt of a house so similar to this. I grew up with a big porch and so want one now. I hope your dream comes true some day. Also, I hope Eva is careful up there.

I will bring some lemonade and Teagan. We can sit on the front porch and chat and Teagan & Eva can dance on the roof. One day sweet friend! One day!

That bungalow is for sure a favorite -- I'd love that beautiful front porch. I could imagine myself there as well. :)

Thanks for linking up.

May I come live there with you? Our family's house in Texas had a wrap around porch and every house I've lived in since has paled in comparison. A porch swing + pillows + coffee in the morning = heaven. I hope you get your dream, sweet friend.

Reminds me of my Nana's house in Kansas. What a beautiful house to dream of.

Wonderful dream of your dreamhouse- loved the ending! I've a dreamhouse just around the corner which I drive past nearly everyday and they're currently doing heaps of work in the yard which of course makes me wonder are they preparing it for me.

Haha. I was lost in your daydream for a moment and then snapped back when I realized Monster is on the roof. LOL. A little dose of reality along with the heavenly daydream! :)

If I had the choice and, unfortunately, I don't, my dream house would probably be along these lines too. I don't want anything too big or extravagant, just enough space to breath and not so much that my breathing echoes. And I'd love it to stand on its own little bit of land, the way that a lot of the Canadian and American houses do.

Unfortunately, some genius decided that it was a better idea to build houses in hideous long lines of identical brick things. It's probably a space-saving measure but I'd bet that whoever came up with it hasn't won any design awards.

You do get the odd house built that goes against the grain but I wouldn't say it happens often and when it does, they always carry a massive house valuation. Right now, I'd be lucky to afford your average broom cupboard.
