Dear Deedle,
I was just sitting here sorting through some files.
Cleaning... I think nesting has begun early.
And you decided to say hello.
Tiny little thumps from the inside.
Stronger than they have been before.
I broke out in giggles.
And started talking to you.

I wouldn't, couldn't move...
afraid it would stop.
It was very timely.
You see, your mommy is a huge klutz...
and she fell down the stairs yesterday.
I landed on my butt, elbow and head...
and rode those body parts the rest of the way down.
I am so sore...
but nothing hurts close to you.
But I was a little worried.
And of course you were quiet last night...
probably comfy and cozy sleeping away.
So, hello back little one.
It was wonderful to talk to you.
Our first conversation was amazing.

That's about the only thing I miss about being pregnant. :) Those first kicks are the absolute best thing ever.

Oh man. Glad you're ok. I'm a big ole pregnant klutz too. Thankfully these babies are pretty well padded, right? Beautiful and thoughtful picture too.

isn't it just crazy there is a new life growing inside you?!!
Holy shit, Nessa! I am so glad you are OK. And that Deedle is OK. My heart jumped into my throat when I read that! I fell down the stairs and broke my tail bone when I was pregnant with Ava; stayed a fear throughout other pregnancies and always while holding babes on the stairs. Be careful, sweet friend!
Also, this photo makes me happy.
I am so glad that you are both okay. Such proof of a miracle - I think I'll always miss that feeling!
