Under the bed

IMG_7509

Oh Monster...
you refused to nap yesterday.
Of course on a day I was trying to nap too.

After 40 minutes of talking, singing and laughing...
and bouncing and shaking your crib to almost the middle of the floor...
I gave up and took you grocery shopping instead.

When you are in high school, I am going to remind you of the time...
we were trying to pee on the potty and you took off.
Ran into your parent's bedroom and dove under the bed.

You hid under there with only your shirt on...
giggling and laughing as I tried to get you out.
I would get on one side and you would move to the other.

I have determined this is the real reason parents in the 1950's slept in two twin beds...
it is easier to extricate a toddler with a naked butt from under them.

Thank God for fruit snacks.

Black and White Wednesday and then, she {snapped}

Found you on "And then she snapped..." This must have been the reason for '50s twin beds. You've convinced me. (Cuteness...)

Lol... that reason totally makes sense! Great story. Kids are the best comedians ever!

Monster's eyes are just gorgeous!

Nessa, spoken like a true mother! But look at that face! Who can resist so much cuteness? :)

That is the funniest story! You should save that story for the wedding reception speech instead of high school! Hahaha. Thanks for linking up this week!

Awww....that little girl with all her cheekiness will no doubt one day grow up realizing that her best friend is you because of everything you willingly overlooked for love, sanity, peace and cuteness' sake. I love the narrative. It makes the photo come alive!
