Weekend and a gift

This weekend didn't feel like the weekend.
Michael worked, and it makes everything blend in when he isn't home.

On Saturday, Eva and I went and visited family.
Crawled back home super late put our selves to bed.
Well... I put Eva to bed and then went right behind her.

Oh, but Sunday...
That was our day.

Michael came home earlier than usual.
We spent the lazy morning playing and reading.
Pandora was singing in the background.

Eva and Michael took a nap.
I planned this weeks schedule and menu.
Searched the inter-webs for some new recipes.
Made out the grocery list.

After my two favorites woke up...
we headed out to the North Market.
Bought some veggies and walked up and down High Street.

We had a snack... some sweet treats.
Chocolate cookies and peanut butter bars.

I took my camera, but it stayed away.
I just soaked up being with them...
and not behind the lens.

It was a great day.

I also had an amazing surprise arrive at my door.
One of those great surprises that takes your breath away.

A friend... a wonderful friend sent Eva a special book.
An ABC Book that is just waiting on photos to fill it up.

There are pages for every letter...
with spots for photos and memories.

The time she loving took to make each and every page special
just blew me away.

I sat there looking at each page...
knowing that I could have never had the time, resources
or creativity to make something so special.

But then, she made is so easy for me to finish it up.
Adding photos to each page to make the book "Eva's Book."
She even sent me adhesive to attach the photos... amazing right?

Thank you from the bottom of my heart Adrienne!
I feel so blessed to have you as a friend.
