We had been pretty nervous about the anatomical ultrasound. I was really scared. Having had some close friends get devastating news at their ultrasound a little while ago, it really made it feel so close to home. You know that saying, "It can happen to you." - well that is all I could think about.
The ultrasound was great. Deedle wasn't as cooperative as the technician would have liked - but she got all the appropriate measurements and pictures. They may be changing our due date to January 20, 2010. Baby is measuring at 23 weeks - not 21 weeks.
When she said, "Baby looks perfect..." I lost it. I just wanted her to keep saying it over an over...
We feel so very fortunate.
Little head, little feet, and little legs... we are so in love.

Yay for good news. No guesses at gender?
Awww...how exciting! This gave me goosebumps. So, SO happy for you and those wonderful words! Praying the rest of your pregnancy goes well and fast! At least it's 2 weeks shorter already, huh? :)
Oh, I just read your "about me" for the first time. Which one of you went to med school? My husband is a physician...I do NOT miss med school days, and neither does he! lol :)
Hooray for healthy babies! Terrific news.
Congrats!!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love meeting new bloggy friends!
WONDERFUL! Glad everything is perfect.
I wouldnt worry about the dates...I in fact, hate them because they CAUSE so many women to be induced early. Ultrasound dating is not very accurate this late in the game...so dont sweat that. (If you are interested, I can send you some links.)
Anyway, I'm due around then...though frankly, I'm not sure of my due date. We'll see who makes it first. LOL. Winner gets a baby. LOL
