All I want for Christmas is...
Aside from spending our last holiday as a two-some (so long as Deedle behaves)... there isn't a lot that I really want.
I love everything about it. Simple, clean and break resistant... what more can you ask for?? In my collecting of vintage serving wear - I think the plain white dishes will always look great. I would love 3 sets so I could have service for 12.
2. Fire King Tulip Bowl
This one is not for sale - but I have seen it (well bowls with this pattern) at antique stores and flea markets. I recently saw one on TV and Michael said that he liked it. I guess I never thought he would like the pattern. Now I can't stop thinking about it. I am pretty sure there is one at one of my favorite antique malls.
If it will wait until after Christmas to sell...
I am in love with the cloth bound Penguin Classics. This title isn't available in the states, but I love this story and I think it would be a good read to a Deedle... magic, animals and fantasy. They also have Little Women, but that title would be just for me until Deedle was quite a bit older.
4. A Getaway with Michael
An overnight getaway with my husband. A hotel room, candle light dinner at a romantic restaurant, maybe a trip to the spa, a movie, play or a show. Just an evening together - just us two - to relax and enjoy each others company.
Still close to the hospital - just in case.
5. Automatic start for my car
Just to make getting Deedle to and from home - the ability to start my car, with out leaving the car unlocked or leaving Deedle alone in the apartment. That way the car will be warm and I can scrape the windows with the Deedle toasty an snug in his/her car seat.
