because in auto mode the camera believes that we are shooting macro from 7 feet away...
(and I had to go into manual to get the previous picture)
pretty... though you can't stare too long.
(at least I can't... makes me a little dizzy)
We thought the star would give it some height...
detract from the roundness...
make it more tree-like in shape...
nope.
I almost broke out the bread knife (detachable handle and all) to shorten the top...
but then I decided to embrace our Christmas bush...
in all its shrub-like glory.

Oh my gosh. Look at her standing next to that tree. So adorable!
LOL...the star!!!! OH my. At least you have decorations. I have one strand of lights, at the bottom only, and no decorations.
