Our zucchini plant finally grew something other than huge leaves!
I had stopped checking, and gave up on it...
and then I found these.
Our tomatoes are still doing great.
I have learned a lot with this first garden.
Next year we will plant a few less cherry tomato plants and a few more big tomatoes.
Summer is going slowly away.
I wore a jacket this morning... seriously.
My mother-in-law gave me this humming bird feeder a few weeks ago.
Hummingbirds actually come!
They are the tiniest little things.
Fast as lighting - but I am determined to get a photo of one.
I sneak these while the monster is napping...
so I don't have to watch Eva eat hers and mine share.
I just picked up this book from the library this morning.
It was highly recommended by a friend and I am looking forward to it.
I wanted to finish at least a book a month this year.
I thought it was an easy goal - well I am behind.
Keeping track here was a good way to get my but in gear though.
and I am behind.

Yay for homegrown goodies! How many tomato plants do you have this year? I just have one in a pot, but next year I am starting my in-ground garden!
I sneak ice cream during naps ;-)
Beautiful veggies!! I am loving the slightly cooler weather. I always have to sneak my snacks during naps too, or give Annie something of her own... such mooches, those girls :)
I love popsicles at nap time too. Your veggies look amazing!
I'm imagining a delicious zucchini slice right now! Love the cover of your book - hope it's an enjoyable read.

Your tomato plants are making my mouth water! Mail me some! Lol and I'm also very jealous of your weather. Over 100 the last couple weeks her in ca. You know it's bad when you think a high of 98 is a break from the heat.
