Productive

Eva in a hat

• I am writing this Sunday night.  Just finished the season premiere of Downton Abby.  I loved it.  I you haven't seen - do.  The second season was well worth the wait.

• Michael was on call today, so I cooked.  There are lots of goodies filling the freezer and some future dinners made easier.  For Christmas, Santa brought me a deep freezer.  Nothing could have made me more excited.  No more frozen bricks of food slamming into my toe because I have over crammed our fridge's little freezer to bursting.

• I love house things as gifts... cooking things, cleaning things get me really excited.  Christmas also brought me a shiny new slow cooker and toaster.   Just lovely things.

• I am working tomorrow.  Bags are packed and by the door, clothes are laid out down to our coats.  I function on fewer brain cells at 5am so things have to be more than ready for our departure.  There have been days in the past where I have walked halfway to the car without shoes... seriously.

• I was really productive today.  Laundry is all finished and the house clean, but the tree is still up.  I am having a hard time taking it down since the monster loves it so much.  I promised myself tomorrow night... firm deadline.

• The monster learned how to play hide and seek today.  She hid while I was using the bathroom.  She forgot to tell me we were playing first.  After some freaking out by me and up and down both sets of stairs twice, I found her... giggling and hiding behind my dresses in my closet.

• She also loves her daddy's hat.  I think she looks good in it.

You are a super mom! I was pleased that I got the dishes done last night. You could have run circles around me.

If Monster girl is like my kids were, now every time she plays hide and seek, the closet will be her hideaway. You certainly are organized. Have a good day.

She looks very good in that hat! I love that..hide and seek without telling you...my son has done that, however, since our house is so small, I can usually find him pretty quick!

Cute shot of her in the hat! I had a productive weekend, but not as productive as yours. Cooking in advance is a very good idea!!
