More Wind

Yesterday, it was beautiful outside.

We went to the zoo for the first time since the fall.
It was a big reminder about how much the Eva-monster has grown.
It is amazing what a few months can do.

She now knows the animals and gets so excited to see them.
Every display is about deciding if the animal is a mommy, daddy or baby.
So cute.

We drove home with the windows down.
Eva loved the wind swirling around in the car.
Laughing, clapping and squealing.

Faster Faster Mommy... more wind!
She had us in tears laughing at that goodness.

After her nap - and ours...
there was a daddy-daughter park date.

And mommy stayed home to make dinner.
On the grill!
The simplest things taste amazing when they are cooked outside.

It was a great day.
Hope your weekend was a good one.

oh my....the grill. I.CANNOT.WAIT!!!
New England is fickle...we get these warm days, but we can also get snow in april...so we try not to get too excited. It's been such an odd winter, that some big late snow storm wouldn't surprise me a bit. Love that she's talking "mommy, daddy, baby!"

Isn't life GRAND when the grill comes out of hiding?? We made the first Thai peanut chicken of the year and it was so lovely...
