Big Slide

Eva calls them Big Slides.

If the twirl, twist or have a tunnel...

the are a Big Slide.

Sometime in May, a trip down a really big Big Slide

ended in tears and a busted bloody lip.

All summer, she would sit at the top but would not come down.

Over and over we would try.
That's okay mommy, it is too big.

Finally this weekend, she did it.
She sat at the top like normal...
Closed her eyes and let go.

Fear gone.

All smiles and squeals.
