Our condo isn't new.
Having been built in 1951 it has wood floors that creek, moldings, stone window sills. it has charm.
So do the other 20 units on our street.
Having driven past our driveway on multiple occasions, I knew something had to be done. Something colorful and happy.
Nothing says happy-to-be-here better than flowers.
Yellow and turquoise.
That thrift trip was more of a "have to get out of the house full of boxes or I will loose my mind trip" but I found some great things. One of those things was fabric for Eva's curtains. It makes me want to giggle and squeal when I think about how great they are going to be.
Eva is 7 months old today. That sounds like such a big number...7. I think it is about time for her to have her own room - just for her.
Grammy is on her way here as we speak to spend some time with Eva while I finish the painting. Have a great weekend.
