An after-nap reading session in our bed with one of her favorite books.
The sun poked out from behind the clouds for a few.
Look mommy... light!
The surprised face of seeing sunshine.
I miss it too monster.
Soon, it will be bright and sunny...
and we will be outside for hours again.
Instead of just a few minutes here and there.
These faces make up for trying to take your own diaper off today.
A really messy, nasty diaper.
There are no photos of that...

Just lovely!
love the one sock. reminds me of the nursery rhyme, deedle deedle dumpling. just precious!
That first photo=heart melting!!!!
must have been something in the air- a kiddo at school made the same attempt. Now every day before nap we rehearse "Don't stick your hand in your diaper, it gets dirty" (and especially don't rub it all over your blanket!)
I love that post-nap-groggy-face-look in the first photo!
Ahhh the one sock - love it
One sock perfection. Just adorable.
Thanks for sparing us the 'other' scene...this one is just heart warming! Even thought it's been such a mild winter, I'm still ready for some steady, strong sunshine.
Precious!
oh my goodness! She has the most gorgeous eyes! WE get a little stir-crazy too when the weather is bad...hope you get some nice sunshine soon! Thanks for stopping by my little space and being so sweet! I love how the blogging world puts so many wonderful people in my path...you are pretty wonderful!
Such a sweet expressive face, and with one sock on reminded me of my son when he was little--always had one bare foot.
so a sweet, precious face! :) and the light in your photos is just amazing. love it. :)
Gosh, this post makes me think, "I can't wait for my baby girl to start talking, so I can hear what she's thinking!"
& since we aren't at the diaper exploration stage yet, I'll LOL about that comment... but I know full well that our time will come & I probably won't be laughing then!
Look at those eyes in that first shot! Such a beautiful shot!
The one sock is classic! It's the story of my life. Ke'alohi is either losing it while she is crawling or I'm losing it in the laundry. I swear our washing machine is eating them.
Oh my goodness, how gorgeous is she, and how lovely are your photos! Beautiful!
Ooooooh, so beautiful little girl !
such lovely photos!
Love te first phot nessa. I call those post nap red warm cheeks "kissy cheeks". See ya when we get back from te Bahamas!
I am slowing go through all the 52 projects from styleberry- umm how have i not seen your blog yet. Love it- your pictures are beautiful and so clean and crisp. I would love to link with you if you don't mind.

awww... She melts my heart!... Monster you are way TOO cute!
I LOVE these! That second photo?! Just priceless! I love that you captured the one sock on, one sock off aspect, too. We don't get a lot of sunshine this time of year here in Alaska either. I'm beyond ready for daylight.
So beautiful. I love the missing sock and the blush on her cheeks. She has great expressions, too.
That third one is precious! Great capture :)
Okay, she is a doll. Wow....just beautiful! Thanks for stopping by my blog :) Gonna look around yours right now!
I Love LOVE these! Her eyes are just gorgeous!
she makes the best faces. i'm seriously getting so excited to meet your newest.
This is too sweet <3 I love the photos of her looking at her book and the one sock. It captures a toddlers life so well :)
