coloring with grandma
I love how Christmas always overflows.
Spreads itself out over days and even weeks.
Food and family.
Friends and gifts.
We have had parties and dinners.
Wrapped and unwrapped.
Christmas Eve with lots of cousins and wrapping paper.
We woke Eva up early on Christmas Day.
We had to start before the sun came up
and Michael had to headed to work.
I was really early and still very dark...
She didn't mind.
Not a bit - Santa had came!
Later, I packed up Theodore and Eva and headed out.
We spent the rest of the day with grandparents.
Coloring, cooking, eating and napping.
Theodore's first Christmas.
He celebrated with eating...
He had a lot of wrapping paper...
his most favorite thing ever.
He also had a few bites of sweet potatoes.
There was way too many presents...
and way too much food.
Michael worked almost everyday the last few weeks.
He is finally off.
We are soaking it up.
Basking in Christmas overflow.

Isn't the first Christmas just magical! Especially accompanied with a third Christmas, Daniel was so excited this year! Xxx
I love it when they can start grabbing at the wrapping paper. Beautiful shots.

That´s just lovely - and I remember when paper was the toy of the day for my rascals... Sigh, time flies!
Happy New Year to you! :-)
I'm so thankful for the Christmas overflow, since P. adores it. I don't even know how to approach putting it all away!
Happy new year!
I never really thought about the 'overflow' of Christmas---love that idea! So true. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
