Yo Gabba Gabba...
Live.
Eva's first concert.
We met up with her best friend for pizza.
Some pretty awesome pizza.
We had talked about the show for days.
I don't think she really understood...
Eva and her bestie waited in their seats.
So patient - looking like big kids.
Then it started.
Eva's mouth dropped.
She barely moved except to grab my hand.
She was shaking.
Eyes unblinking.
Mommy, they are here.
She whispered.
It was like she was 16 and seeing the Beatles.
Halfway through the first song the spell broke.
Up out of her seat and dancing...
and dancing...
It was mass chaos.
Children, small children, were everywhere.
Jumping, bouncing, laughing, singing, screaming.
It was great.

this is precious. i love that her little hand grabbed yours :)
What a great first concert! I love it!
You've really captured her delight and joy. Who did you go to see?
Rosemary
That is so awesome. Her very own Justin Beiber
what a great time she had :)
Sorry I haven't been commenting very much - I've been such a mush. For some reason the whole passing of time thing has hit me anew these last weeks. I feel very grateful to have a glimpse into the joy of your little one's lives ... I'm reminded of so many precious moments when I look into your kids' faces and hear you share your heart! I can see their faces the first time they saw Disney on Ice...things like that! Hope you enjoyed her third birthday...and he's just getting cuter by the second!
